Good places to eat out with the 1eat discount card for a London student?

Thanks a lot Dave for this quick answer :-)

I think I will try the Ecuadorian one, this would be something really new for me, although quite a hike from my place.

Will let you know how I liked the other places later on. I hope to check the places this week.

Good places to eat out with the 1eat discount card for a London student?

fellow students

I have recently (a few months back) bought the 1eat card (http://www.1eat.co.uk).

I am interested in cheap (below £20) and big portions, because I love to eat in zone 1.

I ate in many places before, but looking to try some new restaurants, but recently because of shortage of time do not really want to risk bad surprises.

Any recommendations?

Any good resturants in Londons China Town?

Hi,

I would not recommend buffets in china town, i lived nearby for a year and tried nearly every place. I must say that one of the best is the 4 seasons for duck (however the service is terribly rude) and often you get less than you expected (more bone and fat than duck) but sometimes the food tastes awesome!

Taste London Card: any great deals?

Have you tried other means of getting discounts such as toptable (http://toptable.co.uk) 1eat discount club (http://1eat.co.uk) or gourmet society ( i cannot remember the website but I am sure you will find it on google

)

If I were you my favourite restaurants:
Bayswater Kiasuhttp://www.1eat.co.uk/kiasu : a great malaysian food serving restaurant (when there make sure you order a local milk tea, absolutely deliscious

)

When in covent garden check out Souk Medina http://www.1eat.co.uk/soukmedina (a great lebanese restaurant) if you are lucky you can even get to see the belly dancer show which passes yo uas you eat. When there order the local tea and watch it being poured from two meters above your table into a tiny cup.

Let me know if you would like some recommendations on other restaurants, i have eaten in hundreds of places across London and learned my lessons the hard way ;-)
