Sunday Brunch near Ambler
I highly recommend NaBrasa. http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/843350#7280180
Sunday Brunch @ NaBrasa, Buona Via or William Penn Inn?
Thank you for all of your suggestions. We ended up going to NaBrasa and had a fabulous time. They have a beautiful brunch buffet which includes a complimentary mimosa/bloody mary; pancake/waffle station; omelette/eggs benedict station; pasta, fruit, cheeses, blintz, salads, soups, beef, chicken, bacon, chocolate fondue and beautiful pastries. Similar to dinner, they also had apple sausage, mango jalapeno sausage, ham, grilled pineapple and lamb served rodizio style. We had a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend it!
Seafood Buffet @ William Penn Inn?
Has anyone been to the Thursday night seafood buffet at William Penn Inn? Is it any good?
Sunday Brunch @ NaBrasa, Buona Via or William Penn Inn?
Thinking of taking my sister to Sunday Brunch for her birthday. Where should we go? NaBrasa, Buona Via or William Penn Inn? Pros/Cons of each?
Chincoteague Oysters in March
Planning a weekend trip to Chincoteague. Hoping to enjoy some yummy oysters while we're there. Where's the best place to go for oysters in the area?
Ocean City, MD Vicinity Restaurants
Planning a weekend camping getaway to Assateague in March. Does anyone have any suggestions for casual, decently-priced restaurants in the area for breakfast and dinner? Menu does not has to be inventive, just fresh, tasty ingredients. Would love to find a fresh, casual place for seafood while we're there. Restaurants with a great atmosphere, pretty views would be a plus. Would really love to know where the "locals" go for casual eats in the area.
Gastropubs on Thursday/Friday night
Hawthornes on 11th & Fitzwater is also favorite of mine.
Gastropubs on Thursday/Friday night
I'm a huge fan of Devil's Den and South Philly Tap Room. Both are cozy and serve good food and beer.
Client Dinner Willow Grove/Norristown/King Of Prussia
I'd highly recommend Nabrasa http://www.nabrasa.com/.
Kinnaree in Horsham, PA
BTW, as far as I know, Bryne and Danes is still there. They just closed for some remodeling/expansion.
Dinner Tonight...Montgomery County.
Tamarindo's Mexican BYOB in Blue Bell is great. I haven't been in awhile, but they used to serve free margaritas! http://www.tamarindosrestaurant.com/
Mad Mex-Never Again
I went a few weeks ago and had a very, very similar experience. Service was absolutely awful. Our waitress was nowhere to be found! We finally got the hostess to get us our check. And, the food was nothing to brag about. I agree, stay away!
Phila Restaurant with Round Table seating 8 people
I don't think Amada has round tables, but they do have large tables and even offer a private dining room to large groups. http://amadarestaurant.com/
Manayunk Brunch/Lunch?
Meeting up with an old friend for brunch/lunch in the Manayunk vicinity on Sunday. Looking for something reasonably priced and comfortable to catch up with an old friend (not too loud/cramped). I'd prefer some place where we won't have to wait long for a table around 11 am-1pm or takes reservations for a party of 2 on a Sunday. Any suggestions?
Bueno's Marlton. Not really.
Just tried Bueno's last night, and we LOVED it. Brought a bottle of wine and enjoyed complimentary fresh, crispy chips with salsa verde and pico de gallo to start. Were greeted by a very friendly server who informed us about the Wednesday special: All You Can Eat Enchiladas! For $15.50 pp, we had our choice of enchiladas prepared with our choice of sauces (mole, roja, verde) complete with sides of rice, beans and salad. We could continue to mix and match until we were full. The enchiladas were wonderful: juicy chicken, creamy cheese, and flavorful sauce. Our server continued to check on us throughout the meal, but gave us our space to chat and enjoy our meal. Luckily, we saved room for dessert. Tequila Ice Cream! Wow, it was wonderful: creamy tequila ice cream served on a crispy flour shell complete with a carmelized banana and cinnamon. It was perfect. Not too sweet. My only complaint, it was too big to finish. Next time, I'll split it with someone else! All and all, we had a great time and will definitely be returning.

I completely agree. The food there is fabulous. I only wish the dining room was more spacious.

I haven't been for brunch at either, but my dinners at both have been fabulous!
Miraku on Bethlehem Pike in Springhouse Closed?
Thank you so much for all the replies. I tried Vic, and I must say, it was good, but Miraku was better :( While I'll overlook atmosphere for outstanding food, I thought the sushi there was just ok and that combined with the takeout (phone ringing, line of takeout customers at the counter, etc) atmosphere just didn't do it for me. The prices and service were excellent, but the sushi wasn't as good as Miraku. I could see getting takeout there on occasion, but it just didn't compare to Miraku for my monthly sushi "night out." I'll continue my search ....
Miraku on Bethlehem Pike in Springhouse Closed?
Is it true? Is my favorite sushi restaurant in the area closed? Does anyone have any suggestions for another good, reasonably-priced sushi restaurant in the area? I like Ooka, but it's always so crowded and cramped. I liked Miraku because I could always get a table, the sushi was fresh and it was BYOB.
BACON!
I'm looking for some good, thick-sliced, local, REALLY GOOD bacon. So far, I haven't found bacon that compares to Nodine's Smokehouse in CT, but I'd love to find a local shop to feed my bacon cravings!
When I say local, I mean within the general eastern portion of PA. I'd prefer all-natural (antibiotic, nitrite, preservative free), but it's not a necessity. Overall flavor and quality is the most important thing.
I'd be willing to drive somewhere in the general Philly vicinity or order online. Any suggestions?
Casual Seafood in/near Point Pleasant?
Thanks so much for the feedback. Sounds like Red's is the place to go! How's the quality of the seafood and the fry oil at Red's? I'll have a seafood snob from New England with me :)
Casual Seafood in/near Point Pleasant?
Headed to area this weekend... Any recommendations for a low-key, affordable seafood shack in the area? Nothing fancy, just super fresh, yummy seafood. Take out and/or picnic tables acceptable.
Casual Restaurants Near Pine Grove/Cressona/Schuykill Haven/Pottsville
We're planning a trip to the Pottsville Area next weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good homestyle breakfast joint, preferably a place that knows how to make a nice strong cup of coffee? Additionally, do you have any recommendations for a nice, casual, decently priced place for dinner .... somewhere I can grab a good homestyle meal?

Recommendations for good oyster happy hour or just cheap West Coast oysters?
Sounds fantastic. Do you know the days/times Fish offers their happy hour?
