good place to watch football they have all the games, bad tvs. tiki bar. they do a pig roast on sundays. the baked beans are really good. lots of overweight girls in "brazillian swimsuits". wings are good, and anything the big guido on the grill cooks is excellent-ital sausage and hot dog- check it out

jim's steak is famous because it is not the traditional pat's /geno's. the reason people go there is for the hot oil. you get a prov with onions and ask for a cup of hot oil. dump the cup of hot oil on the sandwich, smash it up, and enjoy. make sure you have a cold can of beer to go with it. the second half of the sandwich is usually consumed on the newspaper machine outside of the establishment while waiting to hail a cab and negotiating with friends over whether to get a few slices at lorenzo's. after that, if you do make it to lorenzo's to get a few slices, you and party will drop them in the street.
homemade italian sausage/liver sausage south florda
my favorite italian deli down here is laurenzo's, they have pretty good sausage and huge selection of everything. their sausage is still no where near as good as the places in philadelphia and my favorite all time, delaware meat market in ventnor nj. i don't like gino's, doris', emil's or fernanda's, anywhere else to try?
second question - italian style liver sausage. butchers in philly usually make it special order or only on certain days of the week, have not met anyone down here who even knows what it is. can't find any info online because searches just give me info on liverwurst. its a dark colored sausage that when cooked right should be pink inside, just like a chicken liver. you gotta eat it with broccoli rabes. has anyone out their ever eaten it before or know where to get it in south fl?
