Meat upgrades at Farmer's Market (Third and Fairfax)

I saw some #10 Wagyu or Kobe, not sure which at Huntington Meats. They also make all their sausages with no nitrates or nitrites. Huntington's Andouille and Cajun is some serious stuff as is their spicy lamb, heck all their sausages are great!

Is Breed Street Food Fair still around?

I think it is terrible that Gloria Molina and the other County and City officials could not find a way to get these people organized, legitimized and permitted and make that wonderful experience know as Breed Street a Farmer's Market or something. What a great and unique experience that was. I learned so much about real Mexican food there. RIP Breed St.

Carne Asada Burrito or Taco in Los Angeles

Try La Azteca Tortillaria on Caesar Chavez. Great handmade flour tortillas and corn tortillas that marry well with the foods they prepare.

Carne Asada Burrito or Taco in Los Angeles

La Azteca Totillaria on Caesar Chavez does some good asada tacos and burros, cooked on a flat top but the way they season is good plus they hand make the flour and corn tortillas.

Where can I find a skin-on full fat pork butt?

Call Huntington Meats in The Farmer's Market at 3rd & Fairfax, ask for Dan or Jim. They should be less than a trendy butcher shop and their quality is also great!

Still only $3.50 for a regular burrito, it is a great value.

Lamajeune (Armenian Pizza) in SFV?

Please try Partamian's before you finalize that statement. I to have been eating them since I was a little boy in the 1960"s. I have had my grandmother's and aunt's versions, I have had all the Armenian Bakeries close to home, Silver Lake. The next best thing to homemade by the family was Partamian's, they use the original recipes from the regions that the original immigrants, fleeing the Turk's, used when they came here in the teens. 20's & 30's. Nothing at Partamian's is skimped, plenty of topping and they use lamb not beef. I rest my case your honor!

Pann's

Roscoe's biscuits and gravy suck! Just had them at the Hollywood location, AWEFULL! Nick's in DT does really good Biscuits & Gravy as does FullMoon or BlueMoon down on 15th St in the Sheet Metal District, great mac & cheese also!

Pann's

Biscuits & Gravy are great! Their Andouille sausage & eggs combo is awesome, I bthink all their sausages come from Huntington Meats in the Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax, great all natural sausage and NO NITRATES or NITRITES! Love the patty melt except for me I have to get extra onions. Never had a milk shake but doubt they would use cheap ice cream, you can get Smart & Final vanilla ver inexpensive and that is a great commercial ice cream. Service is always good and I might just go there later this morning for a bite on my way to LAX. Hey, it is a grilled cheese, you want life changing umamiesq grilled cheese go to The Foundry!

Hey Weiner Mobile, are you involved with this venture? Full disclosure my friend?

Lamajeune (Armenian Pizza) in SFV?

That is Partamian's, the Partamian's name should still be on the sign. Leon, The owner, left the business to his two workers when he passed, he did not leave a will but the family got tpgether and honored Leon's wishes. What great people! Yes the price is high because they use lamb and bot beef and they do no skimp on the amount, it is the same as it was in the 60's.
