The falafel with hummus is great! Perfect for lunch since not many places are open for lunch during the week. |

New Year's Day brunch, Park Slope? I just ate at Melt on Bergen Street off 5th avenue in Park Slope for New Year's Day brunch. I ate the Lobster Benny Special. My husband ate the Foie Gras on French Toast and our friends ate French Toast with berries and the Veggie Omelet. What a great way to start the New Year. |

Looking for top quality bakeries in outer boroughs Blue Sky Bakery is the perfect place for anything piping hot right out of the oven. Half a block off the 2/3 train -Bergen Street walk toward 5th ave, round the corner from Melt restaurant in park slope brooklyn. It is worth riding the subway to get there. The muffins are not too sweet, crisp on the outside, moist on the inside with chunks of fresh fruit in the center. Every bite is scrumptuous. I 've eaten the strawberry sweet plum and the pumpkin banana walnut. All made with fresh ingredients. They make cakes too. You can have them specially ordered for birthdays or weddings. |

Lunch or Brunch for a visit to Target in Atlantic Terminal-not in the mall If you need a quick bite to eat before shopping, LUSCIOUS on 5th ave has great food. If you would like to sit and relax for a nice brunch with a mimosa than MELT is the place, hidden between 5th ave and Flatbush. They have really good eggs benedict and pulled pork sliders. |

There has to be new restaurants better than all those named above. Has anyone tried CONVIVIUM OSTERIA on 5th Ave? I heard it is delicious and so is MELT on Bergen Street. The last time I was at Melt I ordered the QUINCE GLAZED FREE-RANGE CHICKEN BREAST with vegetables and hearty real potato hand cut Fries. The chicken was so fresh and tender. Yum! BOGOTA on 5th ave is also pretty good. Any new posts of what else is good in the slope? |

i haven't been to Bark yet, how does it compare to Shake Shack hotdogs in 23rd street park. Waiting on line for Shake Shack hotdogs is definitely worth the wait. I am very interested in going to Bark to do the taste test. Which hotdog choice should I order first? |
