Huitlacoche - where to eat it??
Xochimilco Family Restaurant in the Bronx has them on the board, i.e. a special, so they might be fresh. I had them yesterday and wasn't impressed, but I'm not sure what they are supposed to be like.

The 五更腸旺 was awesome. I was intrigued by an entire section of the menu which was not translated. I'm attaching a scan of it in the hope that someone will translate.

Working near Jay St/Boro Hall. Seeking mexican, thai, ...
I just started working near the Jay St Boro Hall A train stop. I have a break from 12-4 and would like to explore. (Mexican food is a favorite as are other highly seasoned cuisines.) I don't know the area at all except for a bit of Atlantic Ave around Sahadi's and I'm not a great fan of middle eastern cuisines so I would love recommendations.
