Where to have a NOLA May Rehearsal Dinner?
I will 2nd GW Fins..... I got married 2 years ago (we live in Los Angeles) and we go back for Jazz Fest every year, and when we got engaged, we were thinking of a very small wedding in NOLA, and one of options we looked into was GW Fins... we go there every year, and they have a very pretty private room just off the dining room. The staff there are absolutely wonderful, and the food is simply delish... we already have our reservations for this year...
Clancy's... is it still good; we are going for Jazz Fest May 5...here's what we have so far
Thanks for the recommendations... We booked Emeril's for Sunday evening. will report back after JF... can't wait!!!

Haven't been to Clancy's in years... is it still good???
We've been going to Jazz Fest for the last 6 years in a row, and here's what we've got booked so far:
Thursday night Bon Ton (went last year and loved it)
Friday Lunch: Commanders Palace (we change right after and head right to JF)
Saturday: GW Fins; we've been going every year and love the lobster dumplings, and have never had a bad meal
Need something for Friday night and Sunday night... thinking Emeril's or Brigsten's, but totally open to others... Been to Bayona and Cochon; want something different...
THANKS

Disney Concert Hall-Dinner Rec?
Prefer sit down table service. the concert starts at 8:00. Last time we went to CASA; that was mid-week, and very loud, though we all liked the food (and prices were fine too). It might be fine on Saturday.
Disney Concert Hall-Dinner Rec?
Would like a reasonably priced good food recommendation for dinner before music at Disney Concert Hall; preferably walking distance.
How is the wedding food at Luxe Hotel on Sunset?
it's actually pretty good. I went to a wedding there in July, and was pleasantly surprised... they had a ton of passed hor's D... which were fantastic
WLA/Bev Hills Cent City/ TONIGHT
friends in from east coast... want "Bistro" somthing casual, not too loud, not too expensive.... just GOOD food!!! any recommendations?
Recommendations please -- Mexican for 20 - downtown.
I think CASA would be ideal. They have some separate areas, and it has a really nice vibe to it. The food is awesome!
One Dinner Slot Left
I'd like to recommend Bon Ton It was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. We were there for Jazz Fest, and also went to Bayona for lunch (great), and commanders for Brunch (Awesone) and Cochon for Dinner (very good)

Thanks!!! I always got the lobster pot stickers, and they were delicious...
GW Finns?
We are going to NOLA for JazzFest and we always go to Bayona which we love... and usually also go to GW Finns for dinner... haven't seen anything on the Board... is it still good?
Yamashiros? yes or no
Anyone been to Yamashiro's lately? I know the view is great, but haven't been there in years and years
Wedding for 200 with Outdoor Ceremony/Indoor Reception
When I got married just over a year ago, we checked out and almost booked Malibu West, and it was lovely, and in your budget. In fact, a friend of mine saved herself a bunch of time a month later, and only saw that one place, and got married there a month after we did. I think Calamigos is awesome, but might be more expensive. There are some beautiful homes in the Malibu Canyons that rent out for weddings as well.
Malibu Week Respite; Where to Dine?
I love Sage Room, and go at least once a month.... the owner, Claudio is great. It is the real deal in terms of Italian Food, and it is reasonably priced.
Mardi Gras in L.A.?
There is a place on Pico, in Westwood, just West of Westwood Blvd called Burbons, I think... I haven't been there in years, and the last time I was there, I wasn't impressed. I do remember Orleans from many years ago, and this is no where near as good as that was
Romantic Westside Italian?
Looking for Westside, Romantic restaurant to celebrate anniversary... Love Italian food; but open to others... not too expensive...
Long weekend in Santa Monica/Malibu
If you will be in the Malibu area for dinner; I highly recommend the Sage Room. It's at the corner of PCH and Kanan Dume Road.. Italian; but the real deal... the owner, Claudio is from Italy; and the food there is fabulous...
Manhattan Beach or Playa Brunch???
Looking for a nice place with Champagne for a Sunday brunch with the gals.... Already been to Cafe Del Rey.... any other ideas?
Westwood dinner
I love Pomodory; better than Sprazzo..... Pitfire is very good; but definitely way more casual... they have a great pasta bolognese
ISO Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice
Miru in Beverly Hills on Olympic; near Doheney & Beverly... in a small shopping Center... they have a huge menu; but I love their spicy tuna on crispy rice... I believe they call it The Bomb.... it's terrific
Lobster Rolls in LA/OC?
Check out Sonny McLeans in Santa Monica.... It's a "Boston Red Sox" Irish Bar, but they do have traditional Lobsta Rolls
