Where to eat in Marrero?

Hi,
We're taking a day trip out of New Orleans.
Leaving NOLA in the morning to drive down to Marrero for a swamp tour and then heading to a hotel by the airport before flying home the next day.
I'm looking for recommendations on where to eat , late lunch or early dinner.
It could be in the Marrero area or by the airport or anywhere along the way.
Anyone have a favorite they 'd like to share?

PeraBell, Patchogue

Thanks.
We went last night. We shared the crispy eggplant napolean, it was excellent. My sister had the fish special, herbed cod in a broth, she loved it. I had the poached lobster roll.,very good. Dessert was so-so, molten chocolate cake. should have taken the waiters recommendation, a caroot cake infused cheese cake, but my sister wanted chocolate.
Great place

Restaurant for Christmas Eve Bethpage LI

I've heard alot of good things about Luigi Q.
Unfortunately, my mother went there for lunch a few years ago and was unhappy with it. I'm not sure why she didn't like it, but I dont think she wants to go there again.
I'm going to suggest it to her, but just in case, do you have any other recommendations for the area?

Restaurant for Christmas Eve Bethpage LI

Sure, I know Peter Lugers. Many years ago I lived in the area and knew someone who worked in the kitchen.
I was hoping for something closer to the Bethpage/Plainview area.
Id like to keep the driving down to less than a 1/2 hour.
Any other suggestions?

Restaurant for Christmas Eve Bethpage LI

Sorry,
American, Italian, French, Steak House, Seafood would all be good.
No to Asian, Mexican, Thai or Indian.
Money wise, moderate to expensive. The better the food, the more I'd be willing to pay.

What to eat at the Oak Chalet in Belmore

Hi,
My Mother wants to go to the Oak Chalet in Bellmore.
I know they decorate nicely for the holidays, but how's the food?
Any recommendations on what to order or what to stay away from?

lunch by Lincoln Center

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
Picholine was my first choice, unfortunately it's not open for lunch. Same goes for Cafe de Artistes and the Grand Tier. We're going to the Beaumont theatre, the northwest corner of Lincoln Center (165th and Amsterdam) so even with her walker, Per Se is just too far for my Mother-in -Law. I was leaning towards Bar Boulud, but their lunch menu is very limited, not nearly as interesting as dinner.
I think we'll go to Cafe Fiorello. Does anyone have any suggestions, what are their best dishes or what definitely not to order?
Thanks again

lunch by Lincoln Center

Does anyone have any suggestions for a pre-matinee lunch close to Lincoln Center? We need to be fairly close, no more then a two block walk. We'd like something alittle special, it's a Christmas/ Birthday gift for my mother-in-law.
Thanks
