Parents Meeting Parents: Help w/ Casual Dinner in Charlestown, North End, West End

I agree with the Joe's on the Waterfront suggestion. Seems to fit everything you're looking for: affordable, kid friendly, parking lots (for a fee). I'd also suggest the Warren Tavern for a nice historical aspect for out of towners. Family friendly and decent food. For a nicer dining experience in Charlestown I'd recommend Navy Yard Bistro. Excellent food !!

$1 Oyster HH Every Day of the Week...

Lucky's just started a really great Happy Hour menu that has Oysters for a dollar. Last week they were Island Creek's, yesterday they were Chatham's. Menu is Mon-Fri from 4-7. They also have $2 tacos, and their famous Kobe Sliders for 4 bucks.

Dining at Scarpetta Bar???

Thanks for the replies! We are coming down from Boston and staying Tues & Weds night. Any recommendations for dinner on Weds? I wanted to try Lincoln but my GF doesn't like the look of the room. She wants something a little more "quaint". Other considerations are Townhouse, Mark, Freeman's, ABC but I'm open to anything. I already ate at KO and WD50 on my last trip. Thanks for you help :)

Dining at Scarpetta Bar???

Has anyone dined at Scarpetta's bar lately? Do they offer their full menu? I checked their website but it didn't indicate. Planning on going Tuesday evening around 9pm. Do you think it will be overly crowded? Will we have trouble getting a seat at/near the bar?

Muchas Gracias!

What should I order at Market?

The pork chop was outstanding! Their ginger margarita was great too :)

Olives in Charlestown--gone?

It''s been shuttered for over 6 months. It closed Memorial Day weekend due to an exaust fire. There was a write up somewhere a couple months ago that he was revamping it into a more casual, neighborhood friendly place called "Fat Olives". Not sure if that is still the plan...

Fort Myers Beach recs

Hello. I'll be visiting Fort Myers for a few days with my girlfriend in a couple weeks. We are from Boston and looking to get some good recommendations in the Fort Myers area. We like just about everything. Looking for good sushi, mexican/cuban, and a fine dining spot. Also looking for a good coffee shop. Thanks for your help

Belhaven on tap?

Love Belhaven!! Lucky's used to have it on draught. I'm pretty sure JJ Foley's has it on tap too.

Need help for lunch on Route 1 North of Boston?

Either Polcari's or Jimmy's would be good options for an informal meeting. Jimmy's may just be open for dinner tho, not sure.

Hello. Can someone recommend a place that does take out thanksgiving dinners? I need to deliver Turkey dinner to my elderly Grandmother on Thanksgiving. I'd like it to have all the fixins. I can pick up either Weds night or Thursday day. Needs to be in Boston or North of the city (Cambridge, Somerville, Medford area). Thanks for your help!!
