Best Sandwiches...?

Anyone tried the Kingfish Grille in Gretna? Haven't been there but they have a good variety and prices seem much more reasonable than Stein's. Probably not as "gourmet"

Best Mexican food?

The one with Taqueria Guerrero across the street is near Carrollton and Canal. Its in a metal box looking building if I'm not mistaken

Best Mexican food?

Across the street, Taqueria Guerrero is quite good as well. I went there when they first opened and was quite unimpressed, but a friend of mine urged me to go back. I'm glad I did. Chicken mole, enchiladas, and chimichangas are all excellent. They also serve up a very spicy sauce along with there free chips and salsa. They are also open on Sundays which is a plus.

Shrimp Creole

Wow, thanks for the tips everyone. I'm going to have to try this out soon. Louisiana shrimp seem to pretty cheap right now so I'll strike while the iron's hot. After Thanksgiving of course.

Shrimp Creole

I'm looking for a good example of Shrimp Creole. Any restaurant recommendations in the New Orleans area?
I'm just trying to get a feel for what it tastes like compared with a regular red gravy. Some people say it has a sweet tangy side to it with some spice. I'd like to come up with my own version one of these days using my normal garlicky red gravy.
