Eats in Sydney
Thanks for the replies folks! I'm now having a tough time deciding between Sepia and Quay. Sepia seems cheaper ($220 at Quay vs $150 at Sepia). But while price is not a major consideration, it would make more economical sense to pay lower dollar for something that's on par? Thanks!

Sorry I must have mixed it up with another restaurant I was looking at. The degustation looks good. I'll try and see if I can get a reservation. Thanks again!
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply! I did think about Sepia but it does seem a little too molecular for my liking. I'll definitely be talking to Quay's about a reservation though.
Cheers!
Eats in Sydney
Hi everyone,
I'll be dropping by Sydney in the next couple of months and there are a few restaurants that I would like to try out. Unfortunately time is not on my side and I have to choose 3 out of the 4 that I have shortlisted.
1) Quay
2) Claude's
3) Tetsuya
4) Glass Brasserie
Honestly this is my first time to Sydney so whatever information I know comes from the world wide web. Would anyone be kind enough to recommend which of these restaurants should I be considering or are there any better places around? If it's of any help, I'll be staying at the Hilton Sydney.
Thanks a bunch!
Tsukiji market
They are open only tomorrow. The map indicates 18 & 19 Jul as closed.
favorite Asakusa restaurants
I got to Daiwa at about 615am on a Tuesday morning and there was no queue. We got seats immediately. But the queue was Sushi Dai was just crazy. I counted probably 15 people waiting in line.
Tsukiji tuna auction ban until May 8
They are limiting the number of visitors to 140 a day starting May 10.

8. Anyone know of reasonable places to get a kobe steak? Teppanyakis? In the districts mentioned above?
I would like to find this out as well. Anyone have any good recommendations?
Restaurants at the St Regis - Singapore
Have tried all 3 restaurants but nothing too fantastic.
Guy Savoy
I had the 100e lunch at Guy Savoy last Friday. Enjoyed the experience very much though the food wasn't exactly mind blowing.
Lunch in Paris
Thanks souphie! I've managed to push my trip to Paris forward so I'll be there 1 day earlier (Fri) and have made a reservation via Guy Savoy's website. Awaiting their confirmation email now. Can't wait!
Lunch in Paris
Hi there!
I will be dropping by Paris on the 5th of Dec (Sat) for 1 day and was thinking of having lunch at a 2/3 star restaurant. My initial choice was Guy Savoy but apparently they do not open for lunch on Saturdays. Can anyone kindly recommend me a place that opens for lunch on Saturday? Preferable one that doesn't require jackets as I'll be travelling light. Thanks!
