I love the Speculoos as well, but can't seem to find a place for it other than eating it by the spoonful (which is yummy by itself!). saw your post on clubtraderjoes for recipe ideas (THANKS!), but still searching for something that will work for me. Any ideas out there?
Discontinued at Trader Joe's (started 6/19/2011) [old]
So jealous!! All of the TJs here have discontinued both and no longer have any of either product. You should stock up- esp on the pita puffs!!

I miss the PIta Puffs with Sea Salt, too- anyone ever seen them elsewhere??? My local store said they thought they were made just for TJ's. Also miss the cumin chickpeas in the microwavable pouch- good and easy. Waaaaaaah :(
Looking for great seeded rye bread
Kaplan's is definitely the "gold standard" for rye- exactly what I'm looking for. I have had pumpernickel from a Russian store in the NE (in a strip mall on Old Bustleton Ave off of Welsh- a few years ago), which I found quite good, but, the rye wasn't really to my liking. Will have to try Fresh Market- there is one in Horsham right by my house.
Again- I appreciate the comments and suggestions; very helpful.

Thanks! Had considered Ben and Irv's, but didn't think of Weinrich's for rye bread. I'll definitely check out the NE Philly places at some point.

Need to take "jewish" rye bread with seeds to very picky parents in FL. Live in MontCo- Willow Grove area, but willing to drive. Any suggestions??
Where to buy a turducken in philly?
I purchased one at the Fresh Market in Horsham- it was really easy to make, and the family liked it. Sure that the ones from South Philly and Reading Terminal are better, but this was pretty good. Getting another for T-giving.
