Definitely American food. I live in Houston TX so we shop at Krogers & Seller Bros. . Wal Mart lol
WHen it comes to eating Mexican, Indian, Asian .. we'll usually do that at a nice restaurant.

I suppose you're right, Christina .. but in "the boyfriends" defense, To see a smile on his face puts a smile on mine! I fully enjoy the thought of cooking for him! Its not that my boyfriend isnt satisfied with what i make, its that I am not satisfied with what i make. I hate grocery shopping week after week buying the same old ingredients because my lack of recipe knowledge !
I call my mom a lot but it seems i get the voice-mail more than i do her so i thought i'd turn to cooking gurus, on a site like this, for the "know how".
Thank you for the "google like mad" tip, though .. Sounds like a wonderful idea :)

I love to cook, don't get me wrong .. but sometimes i find it to get boring ! Could it be because i keep cooking the same old thing because my lack of experience in the kitchen? .. YES, says my wonderful boyfriends taste buds ! haha :)
He enjoys eating Chicken (baked & skillet), Fish (salmon, flounder, white fish), Veggies .. lots of veggies! and as far as carbs go, he's a Rice person! .. Any ideas on what i could cook for dinner to keep a smile on his face?
Lets go BOLD! I'm dying to experiment!
