S & S cheesecake

I am going to try to take a stab a this. I don't know anything about a Brooklyn Al Nicolosi's Mother's Cheesecake. But I do know about a Cinnaminson, NJ Al Nicolosi's Mother's Cheesecake. When I was a kid, my mother used to teach piano. Some of her students were the children or child of Al Nicolosi who made cheesecake. To the best of my knowledge he called the Mother's Cheesecake or Mother's Kitchens or something like that.

Sometimes my Mother would come home with Mr. Nicolosi's cheesecake. Sometimes more than one. We all loved his cheesecakes. Being one of nine kids, this was really a treat! Nicolosi's cheesecakes were the best in the world!

Years later, I was in college in San Diego and was surprised to find Nicolosi's Mother's Cheesecakes in a newly opened Deli downtown. I was delighted to find that the cheesecake had achieved national distribution, but I didn't know how that had happened. I purchased the cheesecake then, and it was a good as I remembered it.

In searching the net - it appears that Mother's kitchens may have been acquired by Rich Products Corporation. See links below.

I will have to check out my local stores to see if this product actually takes like the Al Nicolosi's Mother's Cheesecake of my childhood, the best in the world!
