Looking for places that have Pureed food - any help?

thanks popvulture, he didn't get rubber bands, but actual wires and there is no give to them. I'm sure it depends on the type of break. Hopefully it only lasts a few more weeks. I will order some Soup Peddler and remind him about Daily Juice.

Thanks Amy, he will. It will be a lot of adding broth to them and blending them to get them thin enough to get through his teeth. Soup Peddler is a great idea, I hadn't thought of them.

Looking for places that have Pureed food - any help?

My son, 17 years old, broke his jaw playing soccer last week and will have it wired shut for up to four weeks. He is already tired of Ice Cream shakes and Nutritional powders.

Any ideas on items at restaurants that are pureed would be very helpful.

Also if you know of any restaurants that you know have creative and open chefs that would be willing to experiment.

Just so y'all know we did already find South Congress Cafe, who prepared an amazing pureed meal for our son, butternut squash soup and then an entree of pan seared scallops and corn hash were really amazing. The manager and chef bent over backwards to accommodate us.

Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Only one night - South Congress restaurant recommendation?

South Congress Cafe is excellent. I'd specifically recommend their seafood parfait, which is their take on ceviche. We haven't had anything bad there. If you're back in town another time, they are great for brunch. If you want to go way more casual, then hit the airstreams across the street. They are fun and delicious. A dinner of Might Cone (run by Hudson on the Bend) followed by Hey Cupcake will work.
