Try Super Mercado Mi Tierra in San Leandro. They sell Gandules ( Pigeon Peas ) and most anything you might need for latin cooking. 14340 E. 14th St. (510) 483-1008 There are a lot of markets on that block if not.

the best SANDWICH in (San Francisco) period.
May's has the best chicken salad. I get it on Dark rye with Jack cheese and avocado which makes it a mammoth triple decker. Always worth the wait.
