late xmas dinner in nyc
I am working til 6pm on xmas in nyc and i wanted to know if any and i mean any restaurants med to high price range are open..??? just thought i take a shot in the dark... helplll
I have been to brunch everywhere in the five boroughs..looking for a spot for my boozy brunch group need new ideas from foodies... love public, five points, paradou, cookshop, bar tabac, pls need new ideas.. thanx
new new brunch ideas for brunch group.. been pretty much everywhere running low on ideas... money is no problem and must be really good drink ..along the lines of unlimited but great drink... thinking about peels and agave... need ideas pronto

the only one that you left out is poco.. but i agree with what you said about the rest.. i am a brunch hound .... the french toast (big portion) is delish and the eggs bendi is fab with the arepa instead the english muffin oh and the lobster mac ..mmmm. and the service is really good.... oh big glasses of champagne ... only need three and you are nice... was a big fan of paradou till they raised their price.. but the duck reuben and their kir royales mmmm oh and a hidden gem in the bronx ( 4 train).giovanni;s ...or gbar cute fairly big and buffet style(feed yourself) and the unlimited drinks and i mean unlimited... the belinis and the service is great and not crowded and no wait... oh the place is italian near hostos college..
Wedding Brunch Locations?
hi i had a wedding reception for under 30 at 8 1/2 brasserie on a sunday ..the price ea 29/30 a head and my total bill was 2100.00...that was for 11-2pm , two butlers, one drink per person, for the space and then ran a bar tab which wasn't much in that 2100.00 .. they have back room that open and can hold like i think a 100... or min 25/30.... they let us funnel in our own music through their sound system and it was very private ..the food is excellent and we got all the stations that we wanted.. like prime rib, omelet station,crepe,mini desserts and paella jumbo shrimp ,different salads, pasta it was alot.... (we got married in central park conservacy at 9/10am..took photos in the park ..made a small donations to the park in and out in an hour and half..) the only time we saw other folks was when we went to the buffet... oh it is in the 9 west bldg gorgeous with the stain glass in the restaurant and the burnt orange staircase going down into the restaurant.. check out that brunch ... very low key but elegant... no real drunken crazy folks at the brunch.. lovely setting and no problems good luck ..
