Saturday (latw) lunch in Paris

We are visitng Paris on the 19/20th December. Unfortunately we copuld only get a late train from London so won't be arrving in Paris until 2.30pm. I had hoped to go for a 3* extravaganza, but can't find anywhere of that ilk open, certainly not for a 3pm sitting. Could someone please suggest a totally knock-out place - serious French cooking with a romantic ambience, all the trimmings, that we could arrive at for 3 - 3.30pm on the Saturday afternoon?

Where to eat in Versailles

My wife and I are visiting Versailles for a weekend in December (19/20th). We are staying at the Triannon Palace Versailles. I know that Ramsay has his place there, but I don't feel like going all the way to Paris to eat at a London chef's restaurant. Can anyone suggest a must-visit place in or near to Versailles? We will be wanting a Saturday night dinner and a Sunday lunch. Cost doesn't matter (it's a special occasion) but setting and 1st rate food do.

Totally memorable Paris lunch

Can someone suggest a really special place to go for a late lunch in Paris? We are visiting this December, but due to a mix-up with the Eurostar tickets we won't be getting into Gare Du Nord until 2.30pm. I was hoping to go for a no-holds-barred 3* blow-out, but have discovered that hardly any of the big guns open at weekends. Budget is flexible. I really to give my wife (it's her b'day) a stunningly romantic, top-drawer food, truly memorable experience. Ideally classic French cuisine. Due to our late arrival in Paris, though, we'd need somewhere that's open either all day, or at least has a lateish lunch sitting. Help!
