Agreed, I wouldn't buy Fuzion period let alone at a resto where they're serving $38 mains.

We went to Fuzion on Church Sat night. Most of the menu price points are in the $20 range... Careful when ordering a special!!! Who would have thought that Sea Bass would cost $38!!!! Not cool! If prices are going to spike so dramatically they should disclose when telling you what the specials are. Tricky and once again NOT COOL! Some of the better restaurants don't even charge that much! Leason learned. Other items, a bottle of Fuzion Shiraz/Melbec is $9 at LCBO a whopping $44 at Fuzion!!! I find this just RUDE. My Sea Bass was very good, my boyfriend's seafood risotto/paella not very tasty. We shared a duck poutine and it was very flavourful (salty) but lacked a gravey and not much cheese. What's poutine without gravey and cheese? Fries with shredded Duck!
Acme Burger - Bloor/Bathurst
I wish I had read your review before I decided to try Acme! I was on my way to Ghazale's for my once a week fast food treat. What a terrible disappointment! I totally agree with all your comments and have a few of my own. The man that didn't speak English cooking the burger kept flipping and pressing on the paddy till it finally got a tad burnt on one side. I upgraded my combo with sweet potato fries that were soooo crisp I'm sure they were fried more than once. I did ask for cheddar and got what I think was a Kraft cheese slice. The pickles tasted off and low grade. I asked for extra Ketchup and got a thin zigzag squeeze not Heinz! Then had to ask for more. I saw the bacon being cooked up for the next persons order and you're right it looked like some weird turkey bacon or some mystery meat to say the least. I finally decided to pass on the rest of the other condiments since I was taking my burg home and had fresher ingredients.
Once I got home I had a taste and like you I was starving and ate most of my meal but I've had better burgers at Harvey’s! My upgraded combo meal was $11.56, I should have stuck to my original plan and when to Ghazale's at $8 for a combo platter I know I wouldn’t have been disappointed.This place had soooo much potential what a disapointment!
Price: $11 and change!
