IMHO, i think 錦華坊(Kam Wah Fong) tastes better than Sao Tao Brand.
one tip: make sure you see shimp roes on the noodle (little black dots) for real shimp roe noodle :)

I'm not sure if they are from china, but I usually got them from Lion Market @ Milpitas. they are very fresh, because i can smell they are kind of stinky.

Lunch and a tasting at the winery

not exactly a restaurant, but i've been to franciscan release parties few times in the past. good food (rack of lamb, foie gras pate, beef tartar....etc) and wine with a reasonable price. But, it only happens few times a year.
(forgot to mention, it's AYCE and AYCD)

Sometimes I just hate the bay area...RANT

I've been living in Bay Area for 17 years. I think 80%+ of the restaurants and markets cannot meet my needs. when compare to most Asia countries, look at Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China....etc. Their restaurants and food markets quantity and quality are much higher and better than here.
