too many pickles, not enough fridge
It seems every time I go shopping, I come home with a new jar of pickles. any recipes ideas that utilize a lot of pickles? My fridge is getting overwhelmed.

So I have this fantasy of going to a diner late night for a really good piece of pie like they do in the movies.

anyone seen rhubarb lately??
I get it from the Hollywood Farmer's market. One woman usually has it, she's on the North West side of the market. I know she sells to restaurants and is sometimes sold out because of that. If you tell her a week in advance, she'll put some aside for you.
If you can't wait, that fancy Ralphs in studio city on Ventura Blvd. had it on Sunday.
Great bar in the East or West Village
I'm visitng from L.A. during Christmas and want to grab drinks with friends in a funky Village bar. I love good beer, wine, and booze, but my travel companion could care less, so I'd go either way. Maybe something a little hip and Bohemian? Or if there's a great Dive, I love those too.
