Seeking suggestions for Vancouver restaurant that can seat 10-12 people at one table
Aplogies for the confusion. The North Shore, Richmond, Surrey, etc. would not work for us. All of us live in the the UBC-Downtown-Kitsilano-Commercial-Kerrisdale area. So easy access by public transit would be very good!
What about the Water Street Cafe and Rhizome? The Rhizome has a very limited menu though, and this is for dinner.

Hello! I'm new to the boards here. Have lived in Vancouver for the past 2 years, and I am in search of a restaurant that can easily handle a group of 10-12 people where we can all be seated around the same table.
We've already been to the Afghan Horsemen and East is East, neither of which were that good. We have a couple vegetarian consideraitons to take care of in this group and need the restaruant to be in Vancouver in an area from UBC to no farther than Commercial Drive and 41st avenue or past downtown.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :-)
