What to order for lunch for five at Slanted Door

We are five Asians seniors (smaller appetite?). Heard so much about Slanted Door; wanted to try it for lunch first. We are familiar with (and prefer) family style dining. We thought we'd share a crispy roll, a daikon cake and/or a crepe, a salad (or 2?). We each would have a pho then share two noodle dishes. Don't care for meats or main courses or desserts (will have gelato in the Ferry Building). Is this enough food for us? Anything in particular we should order? Thanks.

Middle-priced restaurants in Nob Hill?

A couple of friends will be in town for a conference next week and will stay on for two more days afterwards. They will be staying at Standford Court Nob Hill with three cable car lines stopping at its front door but will not have a car. Any recommendations?

best non-Cantonese

Anywhere in Southern Marin, San Francisco, Northern East Bay is fine. Thanks for reminding me of China Village. Liked Grand Sichuan but very disappointed in its new incarnation, Sichuan Fusion.

best non-Cantonese

A couple of Chinese-American friends will be visiting from Kansas City (a week in Bay Area).
I know they prefer Chinese, but non-Cantonese. Any recommendations for several meals out. They will be staying with us in Marin County and any nearby moderately priced restaurants, other than Chinese, are fine too. Thanks.

Three days in Chinatown

Wow! Thanks a million!

Three days in Chinatown

Family of eight, (Northern) Chinese immigrant grandparents, ABC parents, Eurasian children, would like to do Chinese food immersion during three days stay in Chinatown. Looking for best shao bing/you tiao/soy milk breakfast, noodles, dim sum and northern (non-Cantonese) dinners. Recommendations appreciated.
