ISO: 1L plastic takeout containers w/lids Just a note, make sure you can get lids that fit seperate. The lids crack or fail more often than the containers. I however love litre containers and use them all the time! |

That's what I was thinking, I haven't seen anything about it in months. |

Toronto restaurants for people with food restrictions Awesome to know! |

Toronto restaurants for people with food restrictions Kimchee often is made with fish sauce. Definately not vegan! |

Benihana teppanyaki at Royal York Hotel The small shrimp might be a sustainability issue. The Royal York is big on oceanwise ect. so that may have been the issue there. The rest inexcusable. |

I was thinking all over, ttc accessible for those that want more than one! :) broadview to Vic park, o'connor to queen to get it started? A lot of my friends (along with myself) have been moving east the last few years so it would be nice to have a list of all over. Also thought it could be a useful reference to other hounds. |

I used to work at the one on Robson! Lol! |

Just wondering what patios have opened in the east end. TKO's usually opens a little later, Sarah's is probably open but the food is so terrible that I don't go unless I plan on drinking a lot. Would love to get a reference list together! |

Where is Marcel now- from Marcel's King St, then on Yonge St (years ago)? I don't know why but I really love this comment. |

So no one has said anything about the CN-S review yet? I had a very similar experience, all in all. Thought more people would be talking about it. |

With you. I'm 28 I like to go out to dinner to talk to my companions surprisingly enough. |

I'm under 30, but I also have a kid so I dont count as cool or hip. :) |

Toronto's Best Food Neighbourhoods I buy from there all the time! It's been my replacement since European closed in kensington for not expensive chicken and oxtail ect. Also they always have a wicked price on nice fatty pork bellies. |

Toronto's Best Food Neighbourhoods The only issue with parkdale/ossington is it's really only restaurants. Trying to grocery shop in parkdale now is like pulling teeth. |

I haven't done any classes but she's always willing to check out my sketches and give advice! I made a lot of wedding cakes this past year lol! |

Mothers Day food related gift guide Only somewhat food related but I think some time making plates and mugs at the clay room on danforth would be a lovely way to spend time with my daughter (almost 4) when she's a bit older. |

Ace's Frozen Bake Your Own's - thoughts? Loblaws bought out ace that's why they aren't at Costco anymore. |

Crawfish are pretty much impossible to get fresh here as they are an invasive species. You can get them frozen online but they are crazy expensive. I looked last year to do a boil for a party and couldn't justify the cost. I got rock shrimp instead. :( |

Love, like love the women's shelter idea! Just make sure, if your not female, to have a woman bring it in! |
|
|
Don't forget to invite me! I'll even make a donation! |
|
|
The stop probably won't but it doesn't hurt to ask. The problem with donating almost any food is they can't track it per haccp ect. And Toronto public health is |
|
|
It's not food it's cookware, I doubt there would be a health code issue with that, but in this city who knows! |

Sounds like a great plan. It may not be a pedestrian Sunday (first one is may 27) but still a fun little walk and nibble around. |

I've seen them at the bigger nofrills (Vic park or Lansdowne) in the Mexican section of all places. |

Where's the best fried chicken in the GTA ? YEp. |

Where's the best fried chicken in the GTA ? Talked to the owners today, they said a lot of the poi ts you said justsayn, but also they only have one fryer so they would have to change their oil everyday which would add cost to the whole menu. They said they were looking into an oil filtration system whish would then allow it, but also expensive. Who knows maybe if they have a busy spring we could all win! |
