Spotted: New ice cream shop to open in Cole Valley Three Twins makes their own base. And they have their own dairy up North. And every ingredient is 100% organic. |

Does anybody know a place to pick up fire bricks in SF or nearby? I've heard you can get these to use in your oven at a fraction of the cost of a pizza stone but haven't had any luck thus far. |

Jewish delis in Sunnyvale area? Looks like something delicious is coming soon: |

There is a new chef there. He's been there for the past few months. Great pedigree- Rubicon and Carneros Inn to name a few. Food has drastically improved. Worth a 2nd look. |

To those who had a poor experience at the SF Street Food Fest, this summer promises to be larger and more prepared for the crowds- with more than 4 blocks of space. With barely any marketing done last year, save for a few posters, the festival was overwhelmed by such a positive turnout. Stay tuned for a great time this August! |

Does anybody know a local butcher where navel can be purchased? |

So there isn't really a genuine Jewish deli in SF, or really the Bay Area outside Saul's (though mediocre at best). Do you still get your deli favorites piece-meal? Where do you go for pastrami, good rye, babka, etc? |

Trueburger (Oakland) - any reports yet? Great burgers. Perfect buns. But why frozen fries? |

Trader Joe's Organic is suprisngly good, especially for the price. It's just flour and water- keeping it from becoming gummy like barilla and dececco. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of shape options. |

Little Yangon, Authentic Burmese in Daly City You're very welcome. Was my first Chow post. This is a place that needs to stick around, so I wanted to spread the word. |

Baby Blues BBQ on Mission has a great Mac and Cheese side. It's very rih, creamy and quite heavy. Traditional orange shells and cheese but with a little bite (blue cheese?) ----- |

Little Yangon, Authentic Burmese in Daly City Just ate here this week, Fantastic food, friendly service, extensive menu. Open 10-10 everyday. This place puts the Burmese restaurants in SF to shame and is filled with local Burmese immigrants. They also sell Tea Leaves and other Burmese products. Anyone else been? |
