Can I find a steak sandwich like this in North Dallas Metro? Sounds great. And all the key ingredients. I'll have to check it out. Thanks. Say, did you know there's a fast food steak joint in West Texas? It's called Steak Express. Abilene, Midland, Lubbock, etc. I asked and their steak sandwich is also what I am looking for. Not Chicken Fried, but real steak. I Just wish they had a location here in Dallas Metro. They are a Fast Food Steak joint with drive thru and everything. Probably a one of a kind concept. Thanks.... |

Can I find a steak sandwich like this in North Dallas Metro? This one looks pretty good too. It's a place called Uncle Uber's Sammich shop in Deep Elum. Shaved Ribeye, and i see lettuce, tomato, ......all I need is the mayo I guess: |

Can I find a steak sandwich like this in North Dallas Metro? Thanks. The one with chunks is probably closer to what I am looking for. Sounds good.....thanks again. |

Can I find a steak sandwich like this in North Dallas Metro? Seems every steak sandwich in this area is chicken fried steak. What I prefer is a regular steak, say a sirloin, on a french roll with lettuce, tomato, mayo. Kind of a BLT only with steak instead. They are very popular in other areas of the country, but like beef ribs, hard to find here in North Dallas. Anyone know of a place where they sell this kind of Steak Sandwich? The picture below is from a place in Las Vegas. And it's exactly what I am talking about except I prefer mayo although the vinigerette might be good too. Thanks: |

Lohas Teriyaki in Irving.....how come nobody told me about this place? It is excellent. Quality Menu. They make their own teryaki sauce. I have been searching for good grilled Teriyaki chicken, beef, etc. for 4 years now. Tokyo Teriyaki in Farmer's Branch was my only option but this place is just as good. Everything is good. Avocado Rolls, rice, skewers, and of course the Teriyaki chicken. They use exquisitely good sauce for the veggies, and on their avocado rolls and their teriyaki sauce is about the best I have had. I hope they open one in Frisco. I told them they should. Finally, a great grilled teriyaki option. http://www.dfw.com/2012/03/13/591486/review-lohas-teriyaki.html |

In N Out Burger in Duncanville? My motorcycle club can't even meet at IN N OUT because it's always too crowded. Nowhere to park the bikes. Always a line during peak hours. Just like in California. |

Dallas, good to see you, You have always been fair and kind. I appreciate your posts. Thanks again. |

Yeah, I know, and Texas is great but dayum........don't they believe in anything other than preformed, premade, prepared, preboxed taco shells? Seriously, how come anyone hasn't ever said anything about this? |
|
|
You see how the taco shell is kind of crooked? Not perfectly straight like a taco bell shell? When it's crooked , it's a sign they deep fried it there, it's homemade, their own way, fresh. It didn't come in a box from some vendor. You see that? |

Look, I know Tex Mex is big here and that's fine. But why is it? Why is it virtually ever single Mexican Food Restaurant has taco bell type, preformed, premade , crappy taco shells? I mean, I think I can count on one hand, the restaurants the actually deep fry and make their own taco shells. And that is very important in setting apart a taco from a great taco. Mariana's Taco Shop in Frisco is one of the few and they are EXCELLENT. Southern California style. I just happened to read about this "Taco Joint" in Orange CA and they have a picture of the tacos and there they are......homemade deep fried taco shells. Not the cheap preformed premade taco bell shells which are in even the more upscale Mexican Restaurants here. I Just don't get it. Take a look at these tacos in Orange CA. Those are Tacos. And so are the ones in Mariana's Taco Shop in Frisco, which happens to be the best Mexican Food place I have yet eaten at here. Excellent! http://foodfrenzy.ocregister.com/2011/12/13/eat-like-youre-family-at-orange-taco-shop/61193/ http://www.yelp.com/biz/marianas-taco... ----- |

Tokyo Teriyaki , why aren't there more places like this? And this is what I ordered at Kuishimbo for 30 years straight. Not once did I order anything else. The number 2. Beef short ribs and chicken. And their cabbage salad with that sauce is unmatched. My wife says she's never had anything as good. Here's the photo somebody put on Yelp of the chicken beef rib plate. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/arCFK6... |

Tokyo Teriyaki , why aren't there more places like this? Thanks Lewisville, I took a look at Teppo and I have no doubt it's good. But it appears a lot fancier and probably a lot more expensive. I prefer the simple char broiled simple places that have excellent quality and in the little things, like the teryaki sauce, good rice, and the chicken or beef. (I don't eat Pork). Teppo looks a bit more expensive and I doubt they have a charcoal type grill that gives it that charcoal grilled taste. But it looks good for sure. Thanks.... |

Tokyo Teriyaki , why aren't there more places like this? You are lucky to work so close Veggo. I just wish I could find something even close to as good as they are. Grilled char broil style, teryaki sauce is superb, rice is excellent, just the best. I'm from Los Angeles and they seem to have a lot more of these type places there in Southern Cal and Orange County. The best there is similar to Tokyo. It's called "Kuishimbo" .....Japanese BBQ, and it's a simple place, not fancy and believe it or not....it's even better than Tokyo. Just a few blocks from downtown L.A. and Before I moved here , I was going to Kuishimbo for thirty , as in 30, years. And it's still there. The reviews tell the story: |

Tokyo Teriyaki , why aren't there more places like this? Tokyo Teriyaki in Carrollton. Simply the best. They charcoal grill the chicken, beef short ribs, their teriyaki sauce is superb, their rice is perfect. And I wonder why aren't there more places like this in DFW metroplex? I can't find anything that comes close to it. What is it about Texans? Do they only like deep fried greasy Chick Filet, or Golden Corral, or Whattaburger type food? You know what's messed up for me? Tokyo Teriyaki isn't even open on the weekends. That really sucks. And unless I am missing it, there's nothing like it. If there is something like it around town.....can somebody please tell me where? Grilled, char broiled chicken, beef short ribs, excellent teriyaki sauce, rice, etc.........is there another "Tokyo Teriyaki" around that I dont' know about? I could eat at this place in Carrollton 3 times a week. It's that good. But it's closed on weekends. Should I sit down with the owner and talk to him about opening another one, say in Frisco next to the IN N OUT Burger there? Help! Thanks. ----- |

Charbroiled Burgers in Dallas Metro Plex? Sorry to hear about this. Backyard burger looks good in the pictures but it seems to be more of a gourmet type burger. (I guess you didn't find that to be the case though.).....I like the char broiled simple burgers. Not fancy. And not all kinds of options. Just simple and char broiled. Del's might be something like that. |

ROFLOL! Funny... |

Yeah, just returned. As usual, the tastiest freshest and best cheeseburger on the planet. (For a chain). And the wait?....Not bad. About 25 minutes. Not bad for 4:30. Drive thru was probably a bit longer but we went in and actually was able to get a table because we had a spotter who's job it was to grab the first table that opened. (my 10 year old daughter was our designated spotter). Anyways, all went well. The line was starting to form out the door as we left though......around 5:30 and the drive thru was getting longer too. Good experience. Over and out! Roger....... |

Will do. Scouts out!, calvary ho!...."Were going in"! God Bless America if we don't make it back! :) |

Charbroiled Burgers in Dallas Metro Plex? Thanks Robbn. That's a big burger! Looks good. I prefer mine much smaller but that looks delicious and char broiled and angus beef. I'll have to go there when I have been on a fast. And they even offer 2/3rds pounder. Wow. Kind of a gourmet place I think. I"m sure it's very good. |

Charbroiled Burgers in Dallas Metro Plex? Yeah......Melios has kind of a mixed review. Too bad no pictures. I can tell a lot from the picture of the burger! :) |

Going to IN N OUT in Frisco today around 4:00. We're going for it. Wish us luck. (Gee, feels like were going on some kind of risky life or death rescue mission in Afghanistan or something......"going for it"..."wish us luck").....how sad. LOL! |
