Trolley Car Diner in Mt Airy has a good selection and let's you make your own (mix and match) 6-pack. Any other recommendations? Anything in the N/NW suburbs?

We decided to go with Su Xing because they designed a wonderful menu for us and it sounded too good to pass up.

I'm planning a dinner for a group of 30 and I need to decide at which vegetarian Chinese restaurant to have it. I've ruled out Singapore b/c I find their food mediocre and New Harmony never got back to me so they are off my list. How does the food compare at Su Xing and Kingdom of Vegetarians? Atmosphere? (I've never been inside either restaurant) They are both offerring a very nice banquet menu for a reasonable price and either location will work for my needs. Thanks!

IMO Solaris is one of the most disappointing restaurants in CH. I find Cafette and Chestnut Grill to be much more consistent for a tasty, mid-priced meal.

I called Tiffin today and they said the new elkins park location will open is about 10 days. It's on Old York Rd at Church Rd in the same plaza as Marco Polo and Szechuan Mandarin.

Does anyone know of bakeries that regularly stock Elmo cupcakes? Bredenbecks in Chestnut Hill sells them occassionally but I'm hoping to find a bakery that carries them all the time. Thanks!

I went once about 2 weeks ago. I bought the vegetarian chili from the prepared foods case- price was fair but the chili itself was very disappointing (extremely bland). They had some interesting packaged foods too but a nice selection of fresh prepared foods would be much more appealling to me.
