After breakfast we will no doubt be heading to see the delights of New York, so why not just grab breakfast en route?

Kathryn's list looks pretty good - but is there anywhere else where you would say is unmissable for breakfast? Price isnt really an issue - as breakfast is usually the cheapest and best value meal of the day... Will probably fill up at breakfaast then just have coffee and cake later on...

We are planning on visiting the Village, Nolita, Meatpacking District, Hells Kitchen, so any recommendations in those areas will be most welcome!

I am heading to New York in early March for a long weekend. Staying at the Crowne Plaza Times Square. Breakfast isn't included in the hotel price, so we will be dining out. Any breakfast recommendations, preferably not more than ten minutes stroll from the hotel? I would prefer a sit-down restaurant with waitress service, but any top-notch bakeries/other suggestions will be most welcome. Many thanks and roll on Spring Break!
