Benders is good if you like your fish drowning in butter. There's nothing very interesting about the way they season their food. The service has always been good. The ambiance is 'good 'ol boy' club.
Hazel is by far the best choice- for food and service. I've never had anything there that wasn't a gourmet's delight. They serve soup and sandwiches, excellent coffee, and deserts to die for. This is a bakery, so the dining room is a bakery dining room- nothing special, brightly lit, utilitarian. If you want excellent FOOD, go there.
