wanted: dark cozy irish pub
The Lansdowne Pub on Lansdowne Street...aka across from the pahk..
new pub, cozy little nooks, dark...but not too dark... perfect to throw back a guiness or 6 and they even have Irish breakfast on the weekends.
25th Birthday Dinner- please help!

You wouldn't think of it because it is still kind of new...but this place is great because it has small private rooms that are great for birthdays and get-togethers. My friend had a group birthday dinner here at the end of the summer and we had a great time. The area they put us in was at the end of the long bar, so it felt like we had our own private bartender---aka F.U.N.
Publick House is good times too, but you're right on... so crowded. Lansdowne Pub is a good bet.

Group Birthday Dinner Downtown
A few weeks ago my friend had a birthday dinner at the Lansdowne Pub on Lansdowne St. It was great because we had our own little room and private bar access. Definitely a great atmosphere, we had a great time. Cant remember the price range exactly, but I bet it is around what you mentioned.
You wouldn't think to have a group birthday dinner at a pub, but hey, why not try something different?
