Where to buy black truffles?
Its definately not late for Black Truffles! The Black Autumn (Uncinatum) are at their best now, and will only get better for least another month or so. And the best Black Truffles, the Melanosporum won't be available until early to mid December, and will be at their peak around February next year!

I live in LA and if youre serious about fresh truffles, the best bet is to use one of the Italian truffle speciialists that ship direct. Try herecomestruffle.com, or trufflehunter.co.uk
This is the only realy way to guarantee the truffles will be fresh
