I was there last night for a birthday dinner and would consider going back. The appetizers and entrees were very good, with flairs of creativity. The staff were friendly, but a bit slow on the service. The drinks were delicious!

There are some great places in cambridge. Cambridge Brewing Company, Grafton Street,). $20/per person is hard to get in Boston. Joe's on the waterfront has a great upstairs room with a view over the water,

Scotch/Whiskey Tastings

I'm planning a fun date afternoon/evening for me and my husband for this saturday June 19th in Boston. He recently graduated from Grad School and just wanted to plan something fun and relaxing.

My thought was a beer or scotch tastings or pairing either before or after dinner. Is there anyhting out there like that in Boston?

Any other suggestions about where to have dinner that is fun, but a little nicer than your average burger joint. I thought briefly about Whiskey Priest to and do a whiskey tasting at the bar and then stay for dinner, but haven't panned anything yet!

Any other suggestions more than welcome! Drinks, Dinner, or any other event!

Dinner for 10 - sunday dinner

Thanks for all these great suggestions! They all seem great - especiallly Il bastardo. We are all staying at different hotels (chelsea, soho, brookline) so we are less picky about location (though still in manahattan). NYC has so many good restaurants that it is so hard to decide!

Dinner for 10 - sunday dinner

A group of us are traveling to NYC to support a friend running the marathon next sunday. We plan to have dinner at Arriba Arriba near times square, but are there other options. Good food, but casual and fun but not collegy.

Patio engagement party for 50

I just looked at the patio at the residence inn by marriott and the space looks great. I am in need of a place for my rehearsal dinner, for 60ppl! I left a message for the sales women and am awaiting a call back. I did speak to the catering manager and he seemed very nice to work with. It's called of the Harborwalk Cafe.
