Vegas Thanksgiving dining schedule -- appreciate comments
Why, yes, it's yet another newbie posting questions about food in Vegas. Learn to use the search function, noob!
Ahem.
So two of us are going to Vegas over the Thanksgiving period (Nov 25-29). Our primary attention will be on dining, although we plan to see a couple of shows. We'll be staying at the Venetian, and won't have a car, so ideally we should be able to walk to our dinner (or the cab fare should cost less than the food). We're trying to mix it up, so it's not all Nouveau Continental or New American or Nuevo Tejano.
Our current dining schedule looks like this:
Nov-25 (we get in around 11pm)
Dinner -- Firefly (appreciate any other suggestions for stellar late-night food)
Nov-26
Breakfast -- Verandah Brunch
Lunch -- Lotus of Siam
Dinner -- Stripsteak
Nov-27
Breakfast -- Payard
Lunch -- Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba (is this the best lunch on that given day? Rosemary's is good but the cab > lunch cost, it seems)
Dinner -- Origin India (tasting menu or a la carte?)
Nov-28
Breakfast - Mesa Grill Brunch
Lunch - no lunch planned for reasons soon to become obvious
Dinner - Joel Robuchon (the multi-multi-multi course tasting menu)
Nov-20
Breakfast - Tableau (early, since we catch a flight out of Vegas by noon)
Thoughts?
