was in Spain - I had so many incredible meals there - there is so very much variation in the cuisine of Spain that it's worth many trips to try it all.
My current drink of choice:
currently - it's coffee
I really wish I could:
fly - no strings attached
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
depends on the host's requests for genre/category
My favorite comfort food:
This is a hard item to select for me, but I'm selecting an odd one, but one that always hits home with me if well made "in season". Usually salad - a great salad in the winter warms my heart and a great salad in the summer is expected. I never tire of great salads (or even bad ones when hard up!) As much as bad salads are maligned in the depths of a Minnesota winter, I am a person that LOVES a salad - even an iceberg lettuce/hard tomato salad. Since I've never really analyzed it before now, yet have come up with a food that I could and would and love to ear year-round, it's a good salad that I tend to rely on for comfort, feeling good, and just getting my fix in.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Always changing, but never the fashionable and expensive, nor the "bad food/service" places.
My most tattered cookbooks:
A couple of cookbooks put together by friends with recipes from my family that I contributed way back when, but have sure access to.
