So both Perbacco and Town Hall were booked. Michael Mina is still in the running. Now we have thrown Waterbar into the mix. Any thoughts on Waterbar? This dinner is an appreciation dinner for clients and we want it to be a lively place with great food so people will want to come. They will all be in town for a conference from all over, and they all enjoy nice restaurants. I will also look into One Market...

Any other suggestions for a restaurant that has a private room that can accommodate 35-40? I read that maybe Prospect would be a good place?

We went to Kokkari and loved it. It is very warm and the atmosphere is extremely pleasant. Its contemporary greek/Mediterranean and we loved everything we ordered.

If I had to choose one based on food, ambiance, and the restaurant overall, which one would it be? Its for a large client dinner and we like lively and fun as well as great food.

Plus, these places all can accommodate private seating for large groups.

I have been to Slanted Door a year or so ago. Is it still a good place to go? I remember loving it!

Is Bartolotto the place in the Wynn? Would you consider it a romantic restaurant? I have heard to request and outdoor cabana table, is that correct?

I really like their cheese cart. We usually start with a bottle of benton lane pinot noir and cheeses from the cheese cart for an app. Then I always get the southwest chicken souffle(that might not actually be what it is called) and my husband gets the Jambon and Cheese. Then we split a dessert souffle. Its one of my favorite places in Dallas!

Fearings is a great place to start! They also have a wonderful brunch.

Gourmet Mexican food in Dallas: Javier's. The steak filled with cheese is mouth watering, I forgot what it is actually called.

BBQ in Fort Worth: Railhead.

My favorite steak in DFW is Del Friscos in Fort Worth. I have been to Del Friscos in NYC, Houston, Dallas and this one is by far the best. Eddie V's in Fort Worth has a comparable seak.

Lonesome Dove is incredible. Tim Love also has a fun burger place in FW called the Love Shack.

Oh, and I also wanted to add two more restaurants that i saw online.... Pink Door and Volterra. Any good? We are so excited about our trip and want to pick the best places!!

Oh oh, I forgot one! Lobster Pad Thai from Salum... They almost never have it but they told me I could call ahead and request it when I know I am coming in.... Talk about an accommodating restaurant.

Brisket Taco's - Manny's (many places have brisket taco's, but I like the au jus that Manny's serves with their b tacos the best.)
Warm green salsa with butter and chips - Javier's (there are many other great things at Javier's, but I think I could drink their warm green salsa.)
Sweet potato fries - village burger bar
Fried Chicken - Bubba's
Fried Rice - Shinsei
Del's Delight (ice cream liquor dessert drink) - Del Frisco's (they also have a wonderful lemon cake)
Hummus with pita bread- Ismir Market on Greenville
Margarita - Joe T Garcia's (beware, its a doozy), oh and Tillman's Roadhouse has a really good blood orange margarita

If you are going to have sushi, Shinsei is the best. Hattie's in the Bishop Arts District has amazing food and fun atmosphere, but that may be too far for you. Hibiscus is good. I have heard the new Ocean Prime is good, it's right behind the Cresent, Bob's Steak house is good, Nick and Sam's....

Nice dinner: Fearings in the Ritz (buffalo tenderloin melts in your mouth)
Amazing food and fun for groups: Hattie's in the Bishop Arts District
Upscale Mexican food: Javier's (perfect for a Friday night before you hit the town, fun atmosphere and is always packed)
Brunch (big in Dallas): La Duni (I would only go here for brunch, their bloody mary is outstanding but has a spicy kick to it), The Grape (voted by Texas Monthly to have the best burger in Texas and its only served at Sunday Brunch)
Fancy dinner: Five sixty in the big ball dallas skyline is known for
BBQ: Peggy Sue's... Its a dump, but the food is great
Tex Mex: Manny's (order the Brisket Tacos)
If you are going to make the trek to Fort Worth and you only have time for one meal (dinner) the only restaurant you should have in your sights is Eddie V's, amazing seafood. I hate seafood and I cant get enough of their oysters....
Lunch: The Porch, Nick and Sams grill
Sushi: Shinsei

Louie's in Dallas or Mama's pizza in Fort Worth.
