Sugar Bakeshop, 59 1/2 Cannon Street is just a block away from upper King Street . It's unique, a small batch bakery which doesn't open till 11 a.m., 12 on Saturday. Try their cupcakes, Lady Baltimore (on Thursday or by special order), Red Velvet iced to order, cookies, tarts and cakes, all superb! They have a website, www.sugarbake.com and have received raves from the likes of Bon Appetit and Girlfriend Getaways magazines.
