Anyone know where I can buy this. Had it on the cheese plate at Otto. When asked they said they made their own. Thanks for your help. |

We will be spending a few days there at the end of this month. One night is a special celebration so looking for something intimate. No problem heading to Mystic if that would help. Open to any and all suggestions. |

We will have a car so Doylestown is no problem. Deanna's sounds good. Any thoughts on Karla's and The Logan Inn. Have been coming to NH for many years so just wondering if some of our old standbys are still good. No.9, Manon, Lilly's, Martines, Sergeantsville Inn, Inn at Phillip's Mill, Zoubi, Esca, Tastebuds? Really appreciate your feedback. |

We haven't been back in over 2 years. Staying for 3 nights in early December. Anything new on the radar? Staying at the Mansion Inn and are planning to dine there. Could use help with other lunch and dinner places you would suggest. $$$ not an issue. Just great chow. |

Nassau County Italian with Good Ambiance, Food & Prices? Sorry for MY vague sense of direction. Spasso (the PINK) restaurant is now Caffe Formaggio which is 1/4 mile East of Roosevelt Field. |

Nassau County Italian with Good Ambiance, Food & Prices? Gone. |

Nassau County Italian with Good Ambiance, Food & Prices? Could be thinking of Spasso. Pretty sure it was pink and across from Fortunoff's. |

New to Glen Cove and looking for food! After reading about Zanghi's I had an instant flashback to the 80's when "Nouvelle Cuisine" was the rage. Of course we had to try it. Suffice to say I enjoyed my meal immensely. Better half not so much. Portions were very small and not at all what he was used to. Left hungry and vowed NEVER to return. In truth he was totally unprepared as to what to expect. |

do a search. it's been talked about. |

Great new Shanghai Juicy Bun Joint-Bellmore Long Island! bdr you are being way to kind. the soup dumplings were a joke. the skin was so thin that there was no way to pick one up without it sticking to the bottom and falling apart and if per chance you placed one on the soup laddle which btw we had to ask the waiter for there was little to no soup to slurp. |

Long Island Outdoor Dining For Fussy 75-Year-Olds Thyme in Roslyn has a nice patio overlooking the duck pond. |

Do you have an address or name of this place. Thanks. |

Great new Shanghai Juicy Bun Joint-Bellmore Long Island! Hi kelvin8r, I didn't know the "elusive" Chef Zong was affiliated with PW. Haven't been there in a while,so I wonder how it's holding up. If in fact it's still pretty decent without Zong at the helm, there may be some hope for the new place to succeed. Probably a good idea to get over there asap.Hope his sous chefs are paying close attention. |

Great new Shanghai Juicy Bun Joint-Bellmore Long Island! OOPS just saw the old thread. Sorry to sound redundant. |

Great new Shanghai Juicy Bun Joint-Bellmore Long Island! Great news. On an earlier thread the OP was lamenting the loss of Engs. To each his own. Big plus for Shanghai food lovers. They seemed to think it was affiliated with the Port Washington place. In the beginning I was a huge Zong's fan but it started to decline so haven't been back. Sushi Bar? The kiss of death! Can't wait to give the new place a try. |

Dining on the waterfront near Oyster Bay Ask on the Tristate board. We enjoy the Pine Island Grill in Bayville. |
|

My guess would be a place named Shanghai Palace, the cuisine would reflect the cooking style of that region. If that's the case the things you ordered would not be the best choices. If it is an offshoot of the PW place they should be serving Soupy Buns, Lions Head, Braised Pork Shoulder etc. |

New BBQ in Wantagh - Tennessee Jed's Ranger in JH was the real deal. They also opened a place on the Upper East Side. They both are no longer there. The JH location changed it's name to Legends. IMO not as good as the Ranger, BUT still much better than most LI places. On LI Smokin Al's would be my choice. |
|
|
Riodizio - Roslyn, NY (long island) Green Field on Northern Blvd. in Corona is another suggestion. |
|
|
Uniondale. There was a place on the corner of Uniondale Ave. & Jerusalem. Also one a few blocks East on the South side of Jer. Sorry no names. Only passed by and haven't tried them. |

Friday Evening Dinner near Rockville Center Blue Moon. Italian comfort food. Good pizzas, pasta etc. |

Best Chinese food in South Nassau Also went to Zong's Saturday. Soup dumplings were the best part of the meal. Everything else was just OK. I have been a huge fan since they opened. Not sure what's happening. Portions are smaller on bigger plates. Service sucked and it seemed like Kevin was more excited about us trying his Mai Tai then offering good suggestions on or off the menu. Place was super busy. Great for him, not for us. The only other place that I know of for soup dumplings is Shanghai Pavillion in Port Washington. |
