Gas Range without exterior exhaust?
Just don't buy a Heartland stove! I thought a hood was required for all ranges and we didn't want a hood in our vintage kitchen so we sprung for a Heartland stove which, due to the design made to look like a stove from 1924, has a built in vent/fan which can recirculate back into the room. Would have been a great solution but this $5200.00 stove is in the process of being returned. It has been one problem after another and the company is very unresponsive. The exhaust fan is so ear-splittingly loud that I would never use it. That is just one of the problems with the stove. Most disappointing!
