Visiting our son @ Cal
We're going to visit our son the freshman and are looking for your best Berkeley-area recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nothing touristy, no chains... just the best of the local scene. Thanks.
Neptune's Net or Malibu Seafood or ???
I don't understand why there's some much positive buzz about Neptune's Net. The fried food is underwhelming. I'd recommend the Reel Inn if the one on PCH is till open. Better food, interesting crowd and an alcohol license.
Lunch in Ojai
First time visitor. Looking for the one reasonably priced, casual place you'd pick if you were going there tomorrow. Thanks
In search of a great bowl of soup....(this is a challenge!)
The crab bisque at La Fritte in Woodland Hills is always great.
Good 2 Great Chinese in the west SF valley
We've yet to find a consistently good (not even great) Chinese place after eight years in the valley. Any recommendations west of Reseda Blvd and south of Roscoe? PF Changs is not an option nor is driving far on a Saturday night. Thanks
