f+w is worth the wait. wood oven for them versus gas oven for Delfina. If you know the difference, it will be worth it to you. Also, Delfina Pizza is not the same restaurant as Delfina so you cannot get the full restaurant with the Pizza and vice versa
Best restaurant and food choices for Portland
I am visiting Portland for Thanksgiving weekend for the sole purpose of eating at Le Pigeon again (as I had one of the best meals of my life there) and am hoping for some other stellar restaurant and food recommendations. It will be an eating weekend so all recommendations are appreciated - though I would prefer to avoid tourist type places like McCormicks etc. I have been to Paley's and really liked it though a bit formal for me. I am hoping for down right great food with as little pomp as possible.
