Which restaurant would be perfect?

Well, my wife wrote a few weeks ago with a more detailed description with no responses. I thought I go general and just see what kind of responses came up. Apparently general brings out the snarky.

A place with great drinks and good food. That can make a 21 year old feel like she's is having a fun night out, but that my mother won't feel like she is partying with some drunk teen agers. I would say average cost per person with drinks is about $40-$50. The place shoudn't be overwhelmed if we have a group of 10-12 and stay awhile. Carnivale is an interesting choice. . . along the lines of what I am thinking. Any other suggestions? Portillos is too casual and not the idea I have in mind. I'd prefer not to do pizza. Again--a little to casual. . . Quartino's has been suggested to me as well. Any opinions?
