I have been several times and on each occasion have been very pleased. Everything was piping hot, in fact we all remarked on this !

The sticky rice was the best we've ever had, as was the Har Gow.

It may have been a "one off" that you experienced.

Steak Frites, Yonge/Lawrence, is a good restaurant (IMO) and you could perhaps get away with $80.

Simple Bistro minus Masayuki

Four of went last week and found it very good. Three of us had the lamb (creatures of habit) and one had a veal chop (pre-ordered). Service was good. Must say it was still loud though.

I once asked Pusateri's manager (Bayview Village) to order them, I've never seen them in there and, at the time, I didn't follow up - will do now though.
