AVOCADO!

Your last meal

A Chicago-style italian beef sandwich dripping with juice and a chocolate milkshake.

Looking for those "hidden gems" in Vancouver and Victoria

For unexpectedly good, fresh fish in large quantity and good prices, I can vouch for both Samurai Sushi on Davies (downtown) and Sushi California at Lougheed Mall (Coquitlam)

I'll bite.
Chinese takeout - "Chicken For Lunch"
This place makes serves very satisfying fried chicken in lunch-for-two sizes for $7. Lines at lunch can be 15-20 minutes long! I guess this makes it pretty conspicuous, but because it's underground in a food court at Scotia Place you might not know it was there unless you got a tip from somewhere.

Worst in Toronto

SECOND on Ruchi! Both times I left there not disappointed, but angry, like I was cheated out of my money. Miserable, tiny cubes of meat in oceans of flavourless gravy. Barf.

Back Alley BBQ / Romolo Pizza Napoletana

I'll "third" that experience. I had a perfectly serviceable Margherita there tonight. The crust was a little soft but the flavours were all there. I hope this place gets more traffic because it was pokey, and this was a Friday night.
