Looking for za'atar spice blend in NYC
The za'atar blend from Sahadi's bulk section is great. Take a number and they'll get it for you.
If you are just making pitas, you can get Sahadi's pitas freshly za'atared from the deli counter at the back of the "left" side of the store. They're very inexpensive (under $2 each I think), I used to eat them all the time for lunch when I went to school in the neighborhood, and they freeze fabulously.
