Thanks! It might end up being a Chinese restaurant after all. Was able to get a brunch reservations for Christmas day at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay so that will end up being the special meal.

Wow xmas creep up on me and now realize that I need to book a table for 4 for Xmas eve dinner. I know procrastination brought me here to beg for Chowhounders help for suggestions. Would prefer something traditional (any Christmas goose dinner recommendations ?) but don't really want to face the traffic jam driving up to SF. Anything in the South Bay or Peninsula? THANKS!

Where to buy a Whole Roast Pig in South Bay?
Stop by 99 in Mt View. Only need one day notice and they have roast suckling, medium and large pig sizes. I think prices range from $138 - $195. The lady couldn't tell me how much each size weighs. Will call around at a few other places.

Throwing a halloween/birthday party and I need to find a place that sells a whole roasted pig that is around 20-30lbs in the South Bay. It would be awesome if the place does it chinese style with a nice glistening crispy skin. I know there is lots of places up in SF or Oakland but I would like not to drive that far. Does anyone have suggestions for South Bay or even Peninsula or southern East Bay? Thanks!
