lunch date today with husband-midtown east-ish--suggestions?

Thanks all. We went to Dig Inn on 53rd b/w lex and 3rd. pretty decent healthy fare at good prices. you build your own "market plate" choosing a protein (chicken, meatballs, tofu, brisket), grains or salad and 3 veggie sides. perfect for something different during the work week,

kid (2 yr old) friendly restaurant for brunch/lunch tomorrow, near Hudson and Spring

We are going to the New Amsterdam Bicycle show tomorrow morning, which is at Skylight Studios on Hudson and Spring.

Any recommendations for a kid friendly, preferably with high chairs, restaurant for lunch/brunch tomorrow (sat)? We will be 2 adults one kid. Nothing too fancy, no japanese/asian (kid is allergic to sesame and nuts!)

Already know Bubby's.

Thanks!

lunch date today with husband-midtown east-ish--suggestions?

I work on Madison and 52nd and he works on 3rd ave and 46th....whats a good, not pricey ($15 and under entrees) place to meet for a day date? (we have a toddler so alone time is precious!)

Any cuisine is fine (know about Prime Burger, Burger Heaven, Bill's)

Thanks!

dinner with a friend, downtown, not too expensive

thank you--it was meant to be a broad question. your suggestions are good.

and I'm all set now.

dinner with a friend, downtown, not too expensive

suggestion for dinner with a friend downtown (14th street or below), not too pricey, but something not run of the mill?

Lunch in Soho area

Try Spring Street Natural on Spring Street and Lafayette, great menu, organic, healthy choices as well as delicious fries, fresh juices, and specials. A more scene-y place would be Delicatessen. If you want something fancier and more $$$ try balthazar on Spring. For trendy mexican, try La Esquina.

Vegetarian friendly Bachelorette dinner

was offered a fixed menu for 35pp at inoteca...thoughts on the atmosphere at 7pm for a party?

Vegetarian friendly Bachelorette dinner

I've read the other threads on Bach dinners, but my bride is a Vegetarian and we don't want to take her somewhere where she only has one option for an entree.

We are a group of 15, low to mid 30s, aren't looking to get rip roaring drunk, just good food in a fun atmosphere.

Need a place downtown, preferably on the east side. Would pay $55pp (plus drinks) if its fixed.

Mangia e Bevi is not an option.

Thanks so MuCH!

Suggestions for an engagement gift for NYC foodies

Just took a class at ICE and LOVED it! It was a gift someone gave me. great for couples. Also, for my wedding we received a gift certificate to the BR GUEST group of restaurants. Varied menus and great food. Really fun thing to have.

vegetarian friendly restaurant needed in Midtown East (high 40s/50s)-not too $$$, not salad bar

Want to take a colleague out for lunch tomorrow in Midtown, my office is on Madison and 52nd. He's vegetarian. Any ideas for a restaurant with enough choices for a veg? Want it to be decent, but not more than $20 for entree, tops.

THanks!

Gluten Free afternoon/high tea ideas?

Would like to go to an afternoon or high tea, but both my guest and I are gluten-free. Any suggestions for the tea time experience, but with something to eat other than things made with wheat flour?

Thanks in advance!!!
