I love fish tacos and order them almost every place I go. I think that they are ok at La Verdad, the highlight being the tortillas. I prefer the ones that are actually serverd at the chain Margaritas. You also cannot beat the tequila prices. But if you are looking inthe city, Zocalo is another option. ----- Zocalo |

Hello Friends- My husband are traveling to Marbella this September. We will be flying into Madrid and driving down. We will need a place to stop for lunch. Any places you reccomend that are a must? We will be in Marbella for 6 nights. We are looking for some great restaurants. We eat anything, during our recent trips to Spain we have eaten at Arzac, Zuberoa and el bulli. All of the reccomendations do not need to be this fancy, as we also love the pinxos bars in San Sebastian. Any help would be greatly appreciated and we promise to report backl!! Thank You!! |

Search for the Greatest Bloody Mary Union Bar and Grille used to be my favorite Bloody Mary, spicy and served with Tomolives. I haven't been there in a few months though. ----- |

Got the Reservations to El Bulli!!! Now need help??? Hello all- I got that magical email confirming that I have in fact scored a table for El Bulli in April. We are flying into Barcelona. What is the best way to get to Roses- renting a car, train??? Also, I hear that the dinners are almost five hours long. So staying the night might be a good idea. Any advice on hotels or pension. We need nothing fancy, just a place to crash. Thank you in advance for all of the help!! |

I am looking too. We just got confirmation of our reservation on April 2. We will be in Barcelona and traveling to the restaurant. I need advice on how to get there (drive, train) and a place to stay. |

has anyone been to Mass Ave yet? It was blazing. If you have ever entered the previous restaurant Match, it is the same fireplace. This website picture kind of gives you a glimpse of what it looks like http://calendar.boston.com/boston-ma/... |

has anyone been to Mass Ave yet? I went to the soft opening for the restaurant. Though it was the first couple of nights and they were trying to iron out some food and service issues. The room is very cozy and comfortable, very inviting. The service in the dining room is very week. Most staff you can tell does not have that much experience. The bartenders seem to be the shining light in that department. The food had some hits and some misses. The menu is small plates meant to be shared and they come out when they are ready, so no coursing. This is great if you do not mind sharing with your dining companions. The kobe sliders with the quail egg was at the top of my list. If I were to go back it would be to sit at the bar and have a snack. |

What do you with think of this Radius/Via Matta Living Social Deal? Does not seem like a deal at all. Just seems like away to get you in the door and spend more money. |

Here is a link to the website http://www.estragontapas.com/. If you click on the bottom tab events they have a $1 tapas menu from 5:00-7:00 Mon-Thur. Have fun! |

My DC and myself love, love Estragon. Sahil, a server and bartender, could not be more honest and accommodating. The food is great and the closest renditions to Spain that we have come across. Julio, actually gave us recommendations of restaurants when we visited Spain. I would recommend trying pringa, coles de bruselas, Alcachofas Fritas, Gambas al Ajillo and Vieiras con Crema de Albariño y Azafrán. The house made desserts are great too. My favorite is the the goat cheese sorbet!!!! ----- |

I completely agree with the Franklin in the south end. The food and the service had been off the last 3/4 times I have been in the last few months. On the other hand I have had really great experiences with the Franklin in Southie in the last few month. The bartenders make a great cocktail, the servers could not be nicer and the food is spot on. I would give them a try if you are ever in the neighborhood! |

They offer the regular menu, that is on the website. But they also have a full sheet on specials offered daily. The specials are amazing! |

Hi Bear. We love it. the decor is not fancy, very pleasant. Honestly, if you were driving by you would think it was an average breakfast place. However, the menu, creativity and presentation are over the top. I can barely narrow down my menu choices to 4 items. The portions are very, very generous and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. A true hidden gem. We have now been 3-4 times and every time we leave my husband insists on taking a menu to show to all of his chef friends. Only wish we had one in Boston. Please report back when you give it a try. ----- |

Stolen Menu is so worth the drive. You will love it. ----- |

Just for fun - most overpriced drinks in Boston? $8 Allagash White 12oz. Bottle at Via Matta. Are you kidding me. ----- |

Framingham Center Restaurants? I stopped in to kill some time. I only had a drink at the bar. The service was friendly and the decor was perfect for what they are going for. No valet parking offered. Everyone at the bar eating seemed to be enjoying the food. I looked over the menu and will give them a try when I am in the neighborhood again. |
