Pensacola

Lived in Pcola all my life...try these the next time you are here...Aegean Breeze, zero ambiance but great Greek food and great seafood (best fried shrimp in town IMHO)...Global Grill, great tapas and cool place...Fish House, a little over priced but good food and the place to be on many nights...Madisons, cafe in the bottom of an old historical hospital...Ozone, pizza and good beer selection next door to Madisons...Oar House, cool beach style breezy open air bar with good food...Blue Dot, great cheeseburger but a little scary part of town so go in the daytime...Yes definitely Dharma Blue...H2O, asian/cajun combination on the beach...Coffee Cup, great diner atmosphere and the best breakfast in town...I could go on and on...but try those...

Best Tapas in San Antonio???

I did a search for Tapas in San Antonio from previous posts...did not find much...I will be there by myself this week for a conference in the Riverwalk area...don't like chain food and don't like touristy stuff...won't have a car except the first day...but cabs are not a problem...and budget is not an issue...just good food and wine...$5 or $100...any help would be great...

Any tips on live music venues would be great as well...

Thanks!

Austin Restaurants and Bars

I found a good bit of restaurant recommendations on previous posts and board discussions...also this will be our first time to Austin...we have heard so many wonderful things...and we have both wanted to go there for 10 years or more...so any general tips on stuff to see, do, not do, etc would be great.

Thanks, Bloomy

Austin Restaurants and Bars

Staying on 6th I believe...Near the music scene...We can have a car if we need to...love all types of food...seafood...southwestern, thai, cajun, tapas, french...we are laid back and flexible...

Austin Restaurants and Bars

My wife and I are coming to Austin tomorrow for 5 nights of good food, drinks, and fun...and to experience the Austin music scene.

For food we like casual places...usually locally owned... and price is not a huge concern...we just want quality food and drinks...whether it costs $5 or $100.

For bars we love live music and locals places as well...We live in Florida with tourists galore... so we are not interested in that scene when we are traveling.

Any help you can give us in pointing us to some great places would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Bloomy
