Recommendations for special dinner in Atlanta
My sister and I are taking my very grown-up niece out for her 16th birthday and we want someplace special. I am looking for something more on the elegant side, French if possible, although this is not an absolute requirement. I have been looking at posts, and many of the most highly recommended Atlanta restaurants are modern Southern food or are in industrial type settings that can be lovely and hip but always seem so noisy to me. It will be a splurge, but I'd like to keep it at $50 per person if possible.
Asheville restaurant for Girls' Night Out/60th Birthday Party?
Six to eight of us will be spending a weekend near Asheville in mid-November. We will spend Saturday afternoon at Biltmore and then need a special place for dinner as we are celebrating a 60th birthday. I would like to keep the cost somewhat reasonable. Admiral sounds great, if it isn't too noisy. Fig also looked good. The Bistro at Biltmore Estates looked ok too. We are a fun-loving group and we love our wine. Thanks.
