Hey all,

Heading back to NOLA next week and have a couple good dinners planned, but, the wife and I like to eat a little cheaper when we can. Basically looking for interesting places to eat (Southern/Creole/Cajun) for around $12-18 per dish. Last time I asked this was a couple years ago and was EAT was suggested to us. It was fabulous, BTW.

What's new in and around the French Quarter? Not opposed to traveling, but we don't have a car, so the closer the better works. Just looking for interesting places that won't kill the budget! :-)

My wife and I are headed up to San Simeon for our anniversary in a few weeks, and looking for a nice restaurant in or around the San Simeon area. I've searched the board and didn't see a whole lot... but any recs. would be great!

Looking for good food, and getting out the door for around $100 with a drink or two.

Hey Everyone!

MY wife and I will be traveling with her mom to NOLA Oct. 17-24, and are wondering if any restaurants in and around the Quarter have any lunch/diner deals going on.

Also, my mother in law is looking for someplace good to have fish. This will be my 5th trip to NOLA, and informed her there are plenty of good places. I haven't been back in a couple years... so where are the best places at a reasonable price. I don't mind spending a little cash to get a great meal experience... but she's a bit harder to open the wallet, ya know? :-)
